Galera estou precisando de ajuda aqui,estou tentando instalar o jdk aqui no ubuntu como root,mas quando eu aperto enter para o comando:
sudo apt-get install openjdk-6-x
Ele me retorna:
Lendo listas de pacotes... Pronto
Construindo árvore de dependências
Lendo informação de estado... Pronto
E: Impossível encontrar o pacote openjdk-6-x

Como faço para instalar o pacote jdk?

Adicione o repositório do Web Upd8.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/java

Atualize a lista de pacotes disponíveis.

sudo apt-get update

Finalmente, instale o pacote do JDK 7.

sudo apt-get install oracle-java7-installer

Para verificar se a instalação funcionou, verifique a versão do JDK com o seguinte comando.

java -version

Você também pode verificar a versão do compilador.

javac -version

E lá vamos nós...

vá em http://packages.ubuntu.com e pesquise como o pacote se chama na versão do bolo de bugs disfarçado de distro que você usa. Aí você usa o nome encontrado para instalar o jdk.

JDK 8: $ sudo apt-get install openjdk-8-jre

JDK 7: $ sudo apt-get install openjdk-7-jre

JDK 6: $ sudo apt-get install openjdk-6-jre

tentei com:
JDK 8: $ sudo apt-get install openjdk-8-jre

JDK 7: $ sudo apt-get install openjdk-7-jre

JDK 6: $ sudo apt-get install openjdk-6-jre

e com:
sudo apt-get install oracle-java7-installer

Mas deu o msm problema
