Ola amigos, sou um noob no linux estou começando a aprender por agora e ao instalar a minha placa de video nvida o log de erro que apresenta é este aqui.
nvidia-installer log file '/var/log/nvidia-installer.log'
creation time: Tue Mar 26 07:03:03 2013
installer version: 310.40
PATH: /usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin
nvidia-installer command line:
./nvidia-installer
Using: nvidia-installer ncurses user interface
-> License accepted.
-> Installing NVIDIA driver version 310.40.
-> Performing CC sanity check with CC="cc".
-> Performing CC version check with CC="cc".
-> The CC version check failed:
The compiler used to compile the kernel (gcc 4.3) does not exactly match the current compiler (gcc 4.4). The Linux 2.6 kernel module loader rejects kernel modules built with a version of gcc that does not exactly match that of the compiler used to build the running kernel.
If you know what you are doing and want to ignore the gcc version check, select "No" to continue installation. Otherwise, select "Yes" to abort installation, set the CC environment variable to the name of the compiler used to compile your kernel, and restart installation. Abort now? (Answer: Yes)
ERROR: Installation has failed. Please see the file '/var/log/nvidia-installer.log' for details. You may find suggestions on fixing installation problems in the README available on the Linux driver download page at
www.nvidia.com.
Como faço para continuar a instalação ou como faço para voltar a compatibilidade do video anterior.
Ja que antes tava legal o video...kkkk
agora ta uma porcaria 800 x 600 e o maximo que consigo.
Me ajudem
