CentOS lento ao iniciar tomcat

Olá amigos do VOL!

O Google não me ajudou, por isso recorro a ajuda de vocês.

Instalei CentOS 6.7 e quando eu inicio o Tomcat 9 (instalado em /opt/apacahe-tomcat), o sistema todo fica lento, travando. Fica imposível navegar ou abrir pastas.

É normal? Há alguma coisa que se possa fazer? Alguém já passou por isso?

Infelizmente no momento não tenho as informações da máquina... mas assim que puder eu postarei aqui.
