Olá.
Não sou gam,er, mas eu faço cálculos químicos e moleculares que usam memo de vídeo e gosto de comps. de alta performance.
tenho uma placa de video GFORCE 8600 GT. O micro está com sabayon linux, kernel 29, e o ultimo driver NVIDIA 180.41.
Todos os aplicativos de 3D estão normais.
a minha dúvida e pq o glxgears somente mostra 60 fps.
tenho visto na rede posts incongruentes...
alguns reportan até 16000 fps, outros mais de 1000 ou 2000, outros ainda dizem que 500 já é bom, mas há post onde se fala que se o refresh rate do meu monitor (é 75 Hx) é 75, nunca o glxgeras mostrara mais que 75, e ainda a posts dizendo que glxgears não mede nada, só mede se sua 3d tá funcionando.
Como posso aumentar a performance da minha placa de vídeo?
Já segui as dicas no post abaixo, colocando a NVIDIA para high performance.
a minha memo no micro é 4 giga, a memo video é 512, meu comp é um atlhon X2, 64 bits, 6000+, trabalhando a 3000, normal, mas está overclocado a 3125.
