Conky não fica transparente de jeito nenhum [RESOLVIDO]

Já tentei várias dicas até de sites gringos e nada.

Só consegui fazer ele parar de piscar editando o /etc/X11/xorg.conf acrescentando:

Section "Module"
            Load   "dbe"
            Load   "extmod"
            Load   "freetype"
EndSection
 

E ainda tive que colocar a linha abaixo no ~/.conkyrc para parar de piscar:

double_buffer yes

Não é por aí.
Qual o sistema e, principalmente, qual o ambiente que está usando.

Poste a configuração do Conky (formate o arquivo com: "code"....."/code"), para ficar organizado.

Sabia que não encontrei essa dica em nenhum site gringo ou nacional que pesquisei ?

Ralei feito cão ontem ... E essa dúvida é antiga.

Foi só ir nas configurações e em efeitos da área de trabalho, ir em avançado, selecionar tipo de composição, OpenGL 3.1 ( estava XRender ) e aplicar. Depois editei o ~/.conkyrc adicionando as linhas abaixo e ele ficou finalmente transparente.

Cheguei a abrir tópico no fórum do Ubuntu por achar que em língua portuguesa não iria conseguir resolver:

A alegria durou pouco ...

Depois que reiniciei a configuração do OpenGL foi desfeita e Conky deixou de ficar transparente de novo.

Cheguei a por " Load "glx" " no xorg.conf mas não resolveu.

Consegui resolver.

É que a configuração feita nos efeitos, mesmo marcada para ser mantida na inicialização, não estava sendo salva. Então abri as configurações como root e parece que deu certo pois reiniciei o sistema e o OpenGL se manteve com o Conky transparente.
