Problema com resolução do monitor apos instalar driver da NVIDIA

Olá pesoal! Estou com um triste problema com a resolução da minha tela tá horrivel, mas então oque eu fiz foi o seguinte, baixei o driver no site da nvidia pra minha Geforce 7300GS, dei um service gdm3 stop, pra sai da interface grafica, me loguei como root e dei o ./ no driver.

Até ai tudo bem instalo bonitinho e depois reinicie o PC, quando subio novamente a interface grafica a resolução tava 800x600 uma droga! Então eu fui nas configurações da NVIDIA X Server Settings pra alterar para resolução que eu uso no Windows 1280x1024, só que ela não aparecia, entao fui no xorg.conf tentei configurar a resolução manualmente só que tabem não consegui =(

Se alguem puder dar alguma ajuda ficaria muito agradecido, mas desde já agradeço, vou deixar aqui o meu xorg.conf pra vcs verem como ele está.
