bluetooth não funciona

bom dia a todos.

Seguinte... eu estava seguindo as orientações do wiki debian para configurar o bluetooth. Ele está rodando normalmente, testei com o comando "/etc/init.d/bluetooth status" e está rodando. Eu queria uma inteface para o bluetooth, vi no wiki o kdebluetooth mas não funciona pelo apt-get. entao baixei o blueman, porém, qdo abro programa ele não tem os menus acessíveis. A luz do meu notbook referente ao bluetooth está apagada.

Dá uma olhada se tem que ativar por hardware, um botão ou chave, por exemplo.
Tenta chamar o programa como root pra ver se os menus ficam liberados, se funcionar tem que dar permissão pra user acessar o Bluetooth.

Tá usando Gnome?
Faz o seguinte:
1) Como root: # /usr/sbin/bluetoothd --udev &
2) Como usuário: $ bluetooth-applet &

Caso eles não estejam instalados terá que fazer o apt-get install

Bom vai aparecer um símbolo de Bluetooth na barra do Gnome aí é só clicar e configurar.

Tenta aí.

Qual sua distro??? Eu tbm tenho esse note e no meu ubuntu 9.04 funciona, semana passada atualizei para o 10 e durante a instalação ele disse que ia remover o suporte ao bluetooth, mas ainda não testei.

entao cara... eu testei o comando q vc passou mas nao funcionou. Eu usava o ubuntu antes e tb nao ia. agora eu nao sei....
tem muita coisa q nao esta funcionando com a distro... mas quero fazer o debian funcionar legal aq.
coloquei ainda os wallpaper em modo slideshow só para ver e agora toda vez q vou no Desktop Activity Settings, a tela fica preta e aparece só o icone do tray do dropbox q tenho instalado... tenho q resetar o x para voltar ao normal. Tem mais coisas ainda.. isso desanima um pouco.

Cara vou te dar uma sugestão.
Pega o Linux Mint versão KDE e roda do CD ou do pendrive e dá uma olhada como ele faz pra funcionar, aí talvez tenha como implementar aí.

Opa tive problema parecido tenta executar o bluetooth por linha de comando e conectar ele da mesma forma, não lembro de cabeça os comandos aqui funcionou
hcidtool scan e o de conectar nao lembro

Tente por exemplo:
$ hcitool scan
Scanning ...

$ sudo hcitool cc 00:17:D5:62:6B:2E
$ hcitool con

ou

1- sudo gedit /etc/rc.local: <enter>
2- copie e cole: /etc/init.d/bluetooth start (salve e feche)
3- salve e rode o comando no terminal desta vez para não ter que reiniciar o pc. Da próxima vez não precisa...

Obs.: Estas dicas acima são para adaptadores de bluetooth, mas talvez funcione, não custa tentar... Se der certo, ou se você conseguir resolver por qualquer outro jeito, poste aqui a sua solução resolvida para que possamos aprender também.
