xorg.conf [RESOLVIDO]

boa noite,

estou tentando entrar xorg pra configurar meu teclado pra abnt entre outras coisas e ocorre os seguintes erros alguem sabe pq?

eu uso o debian lenny 5 KDE 3.5

Cara você está em linha de comando fora do KDE?

usa
# vi xorg.conf

aperta o "i" para poder digitar

aperta ESC, ESC e depois "x" para apagar alguma coisa

aperta ESC, ESC e depois "d" "d" para apagar uma linha inteira

...

gedit, kedit, kwrite, xedit só vão funcionar se vc estiver com o X (ambiente gráfico) aberto...

no modo linha de comando eles nunca vão funcionar.

e vc nem tem o gedit nem o xedit instalado


para editar no modo de comando tem que usar o vi, vim e outros que nem lembro...

uso sempre o vi... meio complexo de mexer mas é só aprender os comando e fica susa...

para sair do vi:

ESC, ESC ":q!"

ele feixa sem salvar...

ou
# xorgconfig

depois edita...

mas entre como root e não com "su"

qual a diferenca e eu abrir o terminal como usuario e dar su e colocar a senha de root e eu abrir o terminal normalmente e ir em sessao e abrir novo shell do root e lugar como root tem diferenca ?

as opcoes xorgsetup e xorgconfig resultaram hein

instalei o gedit apt-get install gedit

depois tentei novamente e ocorreu
