Gerenciador de pacotes Synaptic

Fala ai galera, sou um pouco novo no Linux então desde já peço desculpas caso fale algo meio noob...

A distribuição que uso é o Ubuntu 11.10 e estou tendo um probleminha em instalar alguns programas, qnd uso comando make no terminal para instalar um pacote ele me diz q nenhum alvo foi encontrado, vi gente dizendo q para concertar isso era preciso ter o base-essential instalado...nao o encontrei em nenhum lugar (se alguém souber de algo seria mto útil pra mim).

Mas meu maior problema esta no Synaptic, no começo ele funcionava normalmente, mas agora não quer mais abrir. Vi uma pergunta aqui no site com o problema parecido: http://www.vivaolinux.com.br/topico/Amarok/Synaptic-parou-de-funcionar
Só q o problema q ele tinha era q o programa simplesmente nao abria...no meu caso a janela do synaptic chega surgir na tela, mas no mesmo instante em q ela se abre ela já se fecha! =/

Já reinstalei de vários jeitos, tentei todos os métodos q tinha no outro forum mas continua acontecendo a mesma coisa. Alguem sabe oq pode ser ou como resolver??

-primeiramente atualize seu ubuntu usando o gerenciador de atualizações ou usando o terminal com os seguintes comandos:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

-depois retorne p/ saber se o problema foi resolvido

Tente
sudo apt-get install synaptic

sudo synaptic
talvez funcione.


Para compilar precisa instalar o build essential ou build-essential não me lembro se tem o traço.

sudo apt-get install build-essential

tente !

bakunin eu tenho o build-essential instalado o comando ./configure funciona mas eh o make && make install q nao encontra nenhum alvo pra instalar =/

ja fiz apt-get update apt-get upgrade e nada...porem ele da umas msgs q parecem ser algum erro..vou coloca-las em baixao

sudo apt-get upgrade:

Você tem repositórios para sistemas de 32 e 64 bits instalados?

Poste o resultado do comando: cat -n /etc/apt/sources.list

puxa serio?? q medo o.O instalei 64 bits..nao faço ideia doq fiz pra colocar 32 bits no meio ;s

No terminal, copie e cole um comando por vez seguido de <ENTER>:

$ sudo rm -rf /var/lib/apt/lists/archive.canonical.com_ubuntu_dists_oneiric_partner_binary-i386_Packages
$ sudo rm -rf /var/lib/apt/lists/archive.canonical.com_ubuntu_dists_oneiric_partner_binary-amd64_Packages

E depois: sudo apt-get update

Poste o resultado deste último comando.

izaias era pra acontecer alguma coisa com esses comandos? Falo começar a surgir varias linhas de ação como se o terminal estivesse trabalhando..

Pq assim q dou enter no comando, ele pede minha senha claro, e depois simplesmente vai para uma linha abaixo para digitar outro comando..como se ele nao tivesse efeito nenhum
mesmo assim fiz os dois e o resultado do apt-get update eh o mesmo.
