sou novato em linux,e estou querendo migrar de vez do windows para ubuntu 11.04 no qual ja instalei no meu pc,so que preciso configurar minha placa de captura encore ENLTV-FM3 e não estou conseguindo,pq ainda sou leigo em se tratando de configuração no linux,nao entendo essas linhas de comando que tem no linux,entao peço que alguem me ajude,pq estou cansado de ficar crackeando o windows 7 e qd vou atualizar e reiniciar a maquina,a microsoft dizer que tenho distro pirata e limita meu acesso.por isso quero migrar de vez pro ubuntu 11.04,pq acho a distro mais facil de se aprender a usar no momento.agradeço desde ja a ajuda,um forte abraços pra todos.

UIHiuhaiuahuia!!! Tenho q rir msm... tem como crackear o windows sem q a atualização do windows o impeça d executar, mas aki não é papo pra isso. Pelo seu dmesg, percebi q o módulo carregado é o saa7134. Então eu consultei na lista a sua placa (sim, esse módulo roda diversos modelos d placas d captura) e os números possíveis são 108, 109 e 149. Faça o teste:

# modprobe -r saa7134 <-- descarregar o módulo
# modprobe saa7134 card=x <-- carregar o módulo com o número correspondente à sua placa
$ xawtv
$ tvtime

Os dois últimos comandos são aplicativos d captura d vídeo. Escolha um dos dois (prefiro tvtime!). Se não funcionar, repita os passos e mude o número do card para os disponíveis q t passei. Se um destes der certo, cadastre a opção do seu módulo em /etc/modprobe.conf, dessa forma:

options saa7134 card=x

Assim, toda vez q vc reinicializar sua máquina, vai configurar certim, sacou? A lista completa das placas compatíveis encontra-se no link abaixo:

Tudo esses comandos q passei são para ser digitados no terminal (aquela tela preta). As cerquilhas e os cifrões não devem ser digitados, pois eles referem-se apenas o tipo d usuário (cerquilha=root,cifrão=usuário). Se não souber abrir a tela preta, aperte Alt+F2 e digite "gnome-terminal" (sem aspas, claro!).

Kra, o passo-a-passo tá ae. A única coisa q não mencionei é o editor de texto, q vc pode usar o nano (mais simples) e como ser superusuário:

# nano /etc/modprobe.conf <-- para editar o arquivo
$ sudo su - <-- para ser superusuário (digite a sua senha de usuário)

boa tarde amigo,o problema é o seguinte,eu tenho uma webcam e uma placa de captura como relatado acima,a webcam ta perfeita,consigo conversar via video sem problema,so que quando digito esses comandos que me passou acima,nao aparece nada,so diz que nao existe o caminho que vc sugeriu,eu entrei no modprobe.conf e tava tudo vazio,nao tinha nada,ate copiei o que vc postou e nada,fiz tudo certinho,so que tem alguns caminhos que nao existe ou diretorio nao existe,por isso lhe pedi um passo-a-passo de como fazer para instalar e configurar a minha placa ENLTV-FM3.ok
