Multifuncional HP Deskjet 3050 j610 [RESOLVIDO]

Boa noite a todos....
Estou tentando instalar a multifuncional hp deskjet 3050 j610 no debian squeeze, mais ao executar o instalador da hp ocorre tudo bem até o momento em que ele pede a senha do root, digito minha senha do administrador e ele reportar um erro de senha incorreta sendo que a senha está correta....
Antes de tentar utilizar o instalador da hp segui esse tutorial

mais o sistema não conseguiu encontrar todos os arquivos pedidos no mesmo tutorial, então habilitei os repositórios do whezzy e mesmo assim ele não encontrou os pacotes mencionados, desabilitei o repositório do whezzy, e fui atrás de outro método de instalação e encontrei esse

Só para informar o debian reconhece a impressora, mais ele não faz a comunicação com a mesma pela ausência do driver...

eu já fiz isso ele informa que eu não tenho conexão com a internet e ainda que existem dependências, quando na verdade eu estou conectado a internet....

comunidade do vol.... agradeço ao Acvsilva que tentou me ajudar, vlw, mais hoje pela manhã conseguir resolver..


Resolvi, da seguinte maneira fui no sources.list alterei os repositórios para whezzy e forcei a atualização dos pacotes, cups, hplips e todas suas dependências pelo apt-get....multifuncional 100% um abraço....
