Não consigo baixar nada no Ubuntu 14.10 [RESOLVIDO]

Olá amigos, sou um jovem curioso e hoje fiz a escolha de usar linux. Particionei meu HD, coloquei o Ubuntu em um cd, fiz dual boot tudo certo. Aí fui ver um video que se intitulava "Dica: O que fazer depois de instalar o Ubuntu" (), e não consegui prosseguir a partir do momento que teria que baixar o update, porque simplesmente ele não baixa e dá o seguinte erro: lucas@lucas-PW-945GCX:~$ sudo apt-get update

Amigo, é porque de fato não existe essa pasta "utopic" nos repositórios, não pelo que vi.

Lhe recomendo a atualizar sua sources-list

Sinto muito colega, mas o Ubuntu 14.10 já foi descontinuado faz tempo. Não tem como atualizá-lo mais ou instalar programas através do apt. Você deveria ter instalado o Ubuntu 14.04 ou o mais recente 16.04 que são versões LTS.
