O meu tambem não abre da a seguinte mensagem.

Como você instalou?

Programas como esse são complicados. Por isso utilizo um aplicativo de atalho para instalar com sucesso e sem pacotes quebrados ou faltando dependências. Eu falo do ubuntu-tweak.
Instale o Google Earth e um monte de coisa através dele.


Saiu um update do Ubuntu-Tweak e com ele a opção de mudar a posição dos itens de topo das janelas, por conta da “inovação” do 10.4
Para instalar, abra o terminal e digite:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tualatrix/ppa
e depois
$ sudo apt-get update
e
$ sudo apt-get install ubuntu-tweak

Além de instalá-lo pelo repositório você sempre o terá atualizado.
Poste o resultado.

Caro IzaiasCF, fiz exatamente o que vc disse, porém, esta dando o mesmo problema, istala normal o Google Earth, porem quando vai ser ser executado, não abre......da a mesmo informação ja postada aqui......

caro amigo

nao sei de tua urgencia na questao do google earth, mais se for muito urgente voce tem a opcao de usar a visualizacao 3d no propiro maps.google

ja percebeu la??? no browser mesmo!

bom eu removi tudo e nada, quanto ao google maps, lá nao tenho orientação de norte sul leste ou oeste, pois preciso disso para fazer istalação de antenas.....

Olá pessoal instalei o google earth no meu Ubuntu 10.04 mas ele não abre tanto pelo icone do menu aplicativos como pelo terminal pelo terminal diz que o comando não encontrado quando tento startar ao finalizar a instalação o terminal da esta resposta: exec: 19: ./googleearth-bin: not found
já reinstalei várias vezes mas acontece a mesma coisa.
