Windows não aparece no Grub/Acessar arquivos do Windows pelo Ubuntu 14.04

Instalei o Ubuntu ontem e a princípio o grub não aparecia, iniciava direto no windows 7, então reinstalei o ubuntu em cima do próprio ubuntu e o problema foi resolvido. Porém o Windows 7 não aparece no grub2, apenas o ubuntu 14 e suas versões de teste. Gostaria de deixar o windows acessível novamente.

Também não consigo acessar os arquivos do windows pelo ubuntu, os arquivos simplesmente não aparecem nos dispositivos, mas olhando pelas informações do computador, há espaço sendo ocupado.

Estou quase desistindo, Ubuntu est[a me fazendo perder muito tempo, mais do que eu estava disposto a gastar para ter uma experiencia-aprendizado

tenta baixar a imagem iso com boot-repair cria um cd ou pendrive dando boot pela iso baixada e rode o programa

iso disponivel em http://sourceforge.net/projects/boot-repair-cd/
