É... usei seu sources.list aqui, e instalei o postgres 9.1 sem problemas.

Ele esta instalado, mas não configurado(houve erro), então experimente:

$ sudo su -

# aptitude purge postgresql-9.1 

# aptitude clean ; aptitude update

# aptitude install postgresql-9.1
