Ola pessoal venho mais uma vez pedir a ajuda de você.

Comprei um GTR 2412WN Adptador USB Sem fio ela não foi reconhecida pelo sistema, verifiquei o cd e notei que ela tem o drive para linux,porém nao estou conseguindo instala-la, já li o REAME e fiz uma serie de alterações nos arquivos que foram citados ( as alterações feitas foi base de como eu interpretei, mais essa interpretação não foi a correta pois ainda não conseguir compilar)

To usando o Ubuntu 10.4 todo atualizado com o g++ instalado

Acho que trabalha com o módulo rt2870sta.

Em Debian:

Em Ubuntu, com os drivers do dispositivo (melhor procure na web do fabricante para ter os mais novos):

1. Primeira coisa a fazer é desinstalar os módulos que o sistema operacional usa para controlar o dispositivo.
Para isso vamos editar o arquivo -> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf e adicionar os nomes do módulos em outra linha:

blacklist rt2x00usb
blacklist rt2x00lib
blacklist rt2800usb

e salvar as alterações. (Estas linhas servem para não carregar os módulos)

2. Passamos agora para a pasta /lib/modules/<versão de kernel>/kernel/drivers/staging/rt2870
e /lib/modules/<versão de kernel>/kernel/drivers/staging/rt3070 e excluir o seu conteúdo. (Os arquivos são versões mais antigas do driver -> rt2870sta.ko e rt3070sta.ko)

3. Desligue o aparelho se tiver conectado e reinicie.

4. Então instale o driver conforme indicado no arquivo Leiame.

Descompacte o tar (o readme fica lá), não podemos colocar a pasta onde os arquivos no console e fazer:

sudo make || make install

5. Então só resta para conectar o dispositivo e deve ser reconhecido.

Lembre-se que se você alterar a versão do kernel deve repetir os passos. (Diferentes pastas segundo a versão de kernel).

go to "./DPB_RT2870_Linux_STA_x.x.x.x" directory.

2> In Makefile
set the "MODE = STA" in Makefile and chose the TARGET to Linux by set "TARGET = LINUX"
define the linux kernel source include file path LINUX_SRC
modify to meet your need.

3> In os/linux/config.mk
define the GCC and LD of the target machine
define the compiler flags CFLAGS
modify to meet your need.
** Build for being controlled by NetworkManager or wpa_supplicant wext functions
Please set 'HAS_WPA_SUPPLICANT=y' and 'HAS_NATIVE_WPA_SUPPLICANT_SUPPORT=y'.

=> #>./wpa_supplicant -Dwext -ira0 -c wpa_supplicant.conf -d
** Build for being controlled by WpaSupplicant with Ralink Driver
Please set 'HAS_WPA_SUPPLICANT=y' and 'HAS_NATIVE_WPA_SUPPLICANT_SUPPORT=n'.

4> $make
# compile driver source code

5> $cp RT2870STA.dat /etc/Wireless/RT2870STA/RT2870STA.dat

6> load driver, go to "os/linux/" directory.
