Não reconhece o drive da placa de wireless

Olá tudo bem? Eu tenho um notbook que após eu instalar o Linux Ubuntu 14.04 ele não reconheceu a internet sem fio, ele reconhece apenas a interent via cabo e tem a seguinte inforação:

Olá, usando o comando "ifconfig" o dispositivo wlan0 não aparece?

Tente o comando "lshw -C network" e veja se sua placa de rede sem fio aparece.
Você atualizou o Ubuntu ou instalou do zero?
Use um liveCD do ubuntu para ver se ele reconhece a sua placa de rede.

Outra coisa, já habilitou o dispositivo usando as teclas de função (Fn)?

Recomendo que rode o lspci como roott;

~$: sudo lspci 

Se a sua placa aparecer, então provavelmente o Ubuntu não instalou por que é um driver proprietário, o Ubuntu não instala estes. Para você instalar é bem simples, você vai em "Configurações/Drivers adicionais". Assim que você abrir, automaticamente o Ubuntu encontrará os drivers.
