Bom dia.

galera montei um compartilhamento no samba,porem nao consigo acessar a pasta de uma máquina windows.
visualizo a pasta,quando vai abrir pedi senha pro usuario Convidado.
meus usuários estao num grupo chamado samba.

algo errado? valeu;

[arquivos]
path = /home/arquivos
public = yes
writable = yes
guest ok = no
write list = @samba
read list = samba
valid users = @samba
create mask = 775
force create mode = 0777
force directory mode = 2777
froce group = @samba
force user = @samba

Mude no seu smb.conf as seguintes linhas:

security = share

para

security = user


**** para o compartilhamento arquivos, modifique e deixe como abaixo:

[arquivos]
comment = arquivos em servidor samba
browseable = yes
path = /home/arquivos
writable = yes
write list = @samba
valid users = +samba
create mask = 775
force create mode = 777
force directory mode = 777
force group = @samba
force user = @samba


OBS: não esqueça de usar usuários que estão cadastrados no samba e no sistema.

posta a saída de :

# ls -l /home

reinicie o servidor samba, e da um retorno.

Qual distro está usando ?

acessa o compartilhamento com um usuário cadastrado no samba e no sistema GNU/Linux que está usando.

posta teu smb.conf completo aqui.

posta teu smb.conf completo aqui.

tenta acessar com um usuário cadastrado no samba e no sistema também.

Seu SElinux está habilitado ?

read list = samba

para que liberar escrita para o grupo samba e depois limitar o acesso do usuário samba?

blz,usei o usuario joao,consegui acessar um compartilhamento chamado Joao.

agora a pasta arquivos continua dando acesso negado.

O usuário joão está mesmo no grupo samba ?

Altere o grupo do /home/arquivos para samba:

# chgrp -R samba /home/arquivos
