"sem portadora" [RESOLVIDO]

Olá amigos. Estou tentando configurar o modem 3g Huawei E156 no slackware mas quando tento conectar é apresentada a mensagem "sem portadora". Desde já agradeço a ajuda.

# Na pasta Extras, dentro do DVD de instalação, tem o aplicativo WICD - para gerenciar redes.

Não sei... mas talvez com o WICD vc consiga configurar seu modem.

Eu já o instalei mas não dá certo pro modem 3g. Consegui conectar a rede wireless com ele. Para o modem 3g tô usando o Kppp.

Instale o wvdial, procure o nite slackbuilds e baixe o pacote junto com wvstreams. Instale o wvstreams primeiro.


Após instalados, edite o arquivo /etc/wvdial.conf

[Dialer usb]

;Init2 = ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0

init1 = AT+CGDCONT=1,”IP”,”seu-provedor”

Modem Type = USB Modem

Phone = *99#

ISDN = 0

Username = ”seuusuario“

Init1 = ATZ

Password = ”suasenha”

Modem = /dev/ttyUSB0

Baud = 460800

 

Troque os campos seu-provedor, seuusuario, suasenha de forma a atender sua necessidade.

Para conectar:

su -c "wvdial usb"

Eu também usava o wvdial, mas com o comando:
# wvdial

outro bom é o gnome-ppp, e tenho de admitir, funcionou melhor que o kppp!!!

Sua instalação é o Slack 64 ou i486?
Se não me engano, para rodar no 64 tive que transformar o sistema em multilib.
