FALHA Squid!

Toda vez que eu dou um squid -z da esse erro que segue abaixo, e também não consigo starta o squid! Segui todos os passos deste artigo: http://www.squid-cache.org.br/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=35&Itemid=27
Alguém pode me dar uma ajuda? Agradeço desde já!

Acerte suas permissões dos diretórios do cache.

se o usuario e o grupo forem nobody e nogroup respectivamente, use o comando:
# chown nobody.nogroup /var/cache/ -R
(dentro do diretorio onde se encontra o seu squid)

depois use squid -z para criar o cache.

Quando eu tive este problema, dei o seguinte comando:

chmod gou+rwx /pasta/pasta/arquivo

não sei se seria a melhor opção mas quando tive o mesmo problema fiz o backup dos logs e reinstalei o squid..

Quando limpo o cache e dou squid -z squid -k reconfigure e service squid start tudo volta ao normal

Não estou com HD lotado foi a primeira coisa que olhei, as permissões estão leitura e gravação para squid e grupo squid. Não sei mais o que fazer.

se alguem puder ajuda ficaria grato
