jogos no linux ou só virtualizando ?

Olá!
Sou usuário de XP mas quero saber se tem algum jeito de me livrar dele de uma vez por todas...
Já tive contato com distribuições conectiva,instalando servidor de e-mail/dados simples.
Instalei o opensuse e estou curtindo,mas quero saber se existe algum recurso pra rodar jogos, adobe photoshop,essas coisas aqui no suse. Tem algum tópico fixo sobre isso ?

Adobe Page Maker -- Scribus (Não é tão áureo quanto o PageMaker, mas é muito bom mesmo, eu, particularmente, o uso para trabalhos profissionais e estou satisfeito).

Descarregador de imagens do Windows (r) -- DigiKam (Muito mais fácil para descarregar a câmera, além de incluir um pequeno editor de imagens).

Delphi -- Lazarus (Tão bom quanto o Delphi, inclusive na interface de criação).

Visual Basic -- Gambas (Acho inclusive que é melhor e mais rápido).

3D Studio -- Blender (Tão bom quanto, só um pouco mais complicado por não ter tantos atalhos de teclado).

poxa,legal! eu não sabia que tinha tanta coisa assim!

porém minha intenção (inicial) é de não substituir alguns programas como photoshop,dreamweaver...

e os jogos Batlefield2 ,GTA S.A., e CS são essenciais pra mim...

bom ,por enquanto ainda nem sei se vou conseguir configurar o micro direito...mas estou pesquisando...
não consgui instalar o som...o alsa trava o micro...e apesar de a placa aparecer no hardware não sai som algum dela...
