Deve ser
sudo grub-install --target=x86_64-efi --efi-directory=/boot/efi

Olá,

Se for UEFI, não se instala grub na partição inteira, vc selecionou SDA. Por favor digite fdisk -l como root e verique exatamente qual é a partição.
