Instalação do Tomcat 8 no ubuntu 18.04

Boa noite.
Instalei o apache-tomcat-8.5.58 no console ele aparece startado

sudo ./startup.sh

Tomcat started.

no eclipse também não aparece nenhum erro, mas ao entrar no browser com o link localhost/8080 ele mostra erro 404

Coloquei no descrição errado estou tentando http://localhost:8080/
