Xen no Ubuntu - dando erro

Olá eu achei pesquisando na NET muita coisa sobre virtualização e paravirtualização e descobri o XEN achei esses endereços explicando como instalar no Ubuntu: http://mediakey.dk/~cc/ubuntu-howto-install-xen/
e esse também http://www.flaviotorres.com.br/fnt/artigos/xen_ubuntu.php e esse outro: http://www.zuqueto.com/pt/component/content/article/209-como-instalar-o-xen-no-ubuntu-810-passo-a-pa.... . Fiz um pouco de cada coisa desses links e ainda naõ deu certo. O log do erro da criação da imagem é esse:

e ainda não descobri o que acontece...
Bom o cenário é o seguinte:
- O meu Ubuntu é 8.10 e está instalado num hd IDE primaria (40GB) com 512 Ram;
- a minha internet é 3GOi (por isso usei uma configuraçaõ de criação com --dhcp e deu certo até naquele ponto do log);
- ele instalou o xen legal mais nao cria a imagem.

A minha dúvida afinal é se é possível criar a partir do cd (live-cd) como faria no Virtual-Box ou VMWare? porque não sei é a internet mas nao vai.
