Apague as configurações do Xfce removendo a pasta ~/.xfce
Na verdade, as configs do XFCE ficam em ~/.config/xfce4.
Porém, antes de tomar uma atitude dessas, copia e cola aqui pra mim o conteúdo dos arquivos ~/.config/user-dirs.dirs e ~/.config/user-dirs.locale.
