Problemas iniciais com o openSUSE

Pessoal, criei coragem e abandonei completamente o Windows. A distribuição que me convenceu a fazer isso foi o openSUSE. Mas agora estou com um problema sério e conto com a ajuda de vocês. O computador não reinicia nem desliga completamente. Quando mando reiniciar, o computador faz o logoff, fica numa tela preta, mas o led de power fica aceso. Então sou obrigado a desligar manualmente no botão power. Eu já tentei todos os comandos possíveis no konsole, mas só o "$init 0" funciona para desligar. Já o "$init 6" não funciona para reiniciar. O Windows desligava e reiniciava normalmente, então não penso que seja problema no hardware. Como eu formatei completamente o Windows, também descarto a hipótese de conflito. Penso que o problema possa estar em alguma configuração, talvez do fstab, talvez da bios. Conto com a colaboração de todos para resolver esse problema. Obrigado!

Primeiro recomendo efetuar todas as atualizações possíveis.
Se já fez isso verifique os logs em busca de um possível erro.
Sua versão é a 12?
Posta a saida do comando:
#lspci -v

Está usando KDE ou GNOME?
Já usei openSUSE e realmente é uma boa distribuição.

Minha placa d vídeo é Intel Graphics GMA 950.

Como eu disse, no Windows reiniciava sem problemas.

Já fiz todas as atualizações possíveis.
Não sei verificar logs de erro no openSUSE.

Não me recordo se no opensuse são esses logs, mas de qualquer forma não custa nada verificar.
