Erro ao abrir central de programas do Ubuntu e ao tentar instalar qualquer programa pelo terminal

Quando tento abrir a central de programas, não vai... abre e antes de carregar totalmente fecha sozinha.

E pelo terminal fica em 0% durante horas

digita no terminal

$ sudo apt-get update

$ sudo apt-get upgrade
