dmesg | grep Memory <<< Memory com "m" maiúsculo, esse comando trará o Memory Block Size (o tamanho do bloco de memória do kernel), aqui deu 128MB.

Deu algum erro na instalação então, ele colocou /home com 220GB e a partição primária com 3,8GB.
Jamais deu qualquer erro, uso esse sistema há 9 meses rodando liso liso, esse problema só ocorreu ao tentar instalar o drive da Nvidia hoje, ao compilar o Kernel acredito que ele fez um debug automático e encheu a partição root.
No NomadBSD que é derivado do FreeBSD na instalação de versões 11 em diante ele cria essa partição de 3.8GB mesmo, é nornal.
Mas de acordo com essa mensagem

pode ser que seja o banco de dados Sqlite que esteja ocupando espaço demasiado por causa de algum erro.
Tente, se já fez, faça de novo:

e veja qual a mensagem que dá ou se (re)instala.
Caso repetir as mensagens de antes mesmo você já tendo liberado espaço no HD então o que posso dizer é que teve algum problema na instalação que foi se agravando. Não amigo, como disse antes isso ocoreu hoje.
Mas como tu disse que tem espaço de sobra então tu deverá usar um gerenciador de partições como o Gparted ou Gpart para remanejar as partições. Não amigo, acredito que vc eseja confundindo com Linux pois Gparted não manipula partições UFS.
Esse problema começou recentemente? Hoje, ao tentar compilar o Kernel source para instalação do driver da Nvidia
Após seguir suas dicas (obrigado!) infelizmente não resolveu. como pode ser visto nos prints o problema todo está no /
