nao aguento mais procurar na net e aqui no forum sobre isso...

vou resumir a historia..
estou com pc usando windows...
instalei o oracle vm ware virtual box
instalei por iso o ubuntu 11.04
baixei tudo q era sugestao e pacotes
instalei o gcc g++ getc ^^

primeiramente baixei o gcc 4.6 ultima versao.. mas na hora de dar o ./configure da o erro de nao poder criar variavel em C e bla bla bla..

=/

ja tentei de tudo.. espero q vcs possam me ajudar =)

noi Ubuntu,o GCC default está dentro do pacote chamado, acho, build-essentials.
o GCC 4.6 é o mais novo, mas é um pouco instável. o padrão em muitas distros atualmente é o 4.5.2,o que é usado no Gentoo, Sabayon e no openSUSE,Mandriva.
se vc instalar o pacote build-essencials,porque precisa de outro GCC?

o seu sistema não compila,pois....para compilar GCC, vc precisa... compilador!
o GCC é o compilador, como vao compila-lo, sem ele, como ele compilaria a só proprio, se não está no sistema?

se vc tiver algum outro GCC no sistema já instalado e mesmo assim e não está funfando, veja esta minha dica:

principlamente o procedimento dos ítens c e d, e atualize o pacote chamado binutils,mas primeiro tente rodar o binutils antes de atualiza-lo

(isto é não atualize binutils se ele estiver funcionando, pois embora eu esteja me baseando en gentoo like, em ubuntu pode ser diferente, em gentoo muita coisa depende da versão de bunutils)

Resumindo, seu sistema não compila GCC pq GCC é o proprio compilador...

outra possibilidade, baixe da net um GCC pronto, precompilado, em formato DEB, para Ubuntu mesmo, para Aptosid ou para Debian,pq deve funcionar

mas normalmente, em Ubuntu, só instalar o pacote build-essentials já resolve, pois o pacote traz o GCC e suas Deps.

mas irei criar outro topico.. pois ainda nao resolvi meu problema.. e concerteza sera solucionado... !!! ^^
