Bem tenho instalado o Ubuntu e instalei o beryl mas ao aplicar fico sem as janelas de titulo de cada uma delas, alguem sabe porque ?

#gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Na seção Device, adicione:

Option "XAANoOffscreenPixmaps" "true"
Option "AllowGLXWithComposite" "true"

Na seção Screen, adicione:

Option "AddARGBGLXVisuals" "True"

No final do xorg.conf, adicione:

Section "Extensions"
Option "Composite" "enable"
EndSection

tente inserir isso se não tiver deve resolver!!!!!

sudo aptitude install emerald

$ sudo aptitude install emerald-themes

Isso deve resolver seu problema, pois o Beryl não utiliza o kde ou Gnome como window-decorator, e sim o emerald.

Segue dois comandos abaixo para resolver seu problema que aconteceu comigo também.

$ rm ~/.beryl* -rf
$ rm ~/.emerald* -rf

to com o mesmo problema galera eu instalei o beryl mais nao tem as area de trabalhos os desktop quenem cubo 3d ,e tb mano eu to dando o comando # aptitude install emerald-themes e nao aparece nada ooia so o q aparece $ sudo aptitude install emerald-themes ??
