1. sudo apt-get update no Ubuntu 1404

E: Type '<html>' is not known on line 1 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mssql-server.list
E: The list of sources could not be read.

Abra um terminal e poste aqui os resultados dos dois comandos seguintes:

ls /etc/apt/

ls /etc/apt/sources.list.d/

14.04 mais já formatei instalei de novo ai deu certo.
