RaLink Wireless LAN Card é reconhecido mas não detecta redes no BackTrack 5 (vmware) [RESOLVIDO]

Olá galera!

Recentemente instalei o Backtrack 5 R2 em uma máquina virtual vmware, instalei em seguida as vmware-tools e tudo parece funcionar perfeitamente. Entretanto, quando tentei usar um adaptador wireless usb (RaLink) o mesmo, apesar de ser reconhecido pelo BT5, não consegue detectar nenhuma rede wireless disponível, nem consigo usar o airodump-ng (aircrack-ng) - não recebe nenhum pacote em modo monitor. Não sei como proceder para deixar o dispositivo funcionando. Detalhe: usando o BT5 como liveCD tudo funciona perfeitamente!!!! O problema é apenas no VMware. Alguma dica?????
