driver para linux, da Placa de Captura ENCORe [RESOLVIDO]

Alguem sabe comom faz para ativar a placa de captura, com alguma pacote, ou comando, seila,
Falta só isso para eu migrar de vez para o ubuntu...
;D

Obs: De forma bem didática até mostrando os procedimentos, sou novíssimo no linux...;D

isso ae você pode configurar diretamente pelo kernel. procure sobre compilação de kernel aqui mesmo no vol, tem muitos artigos falando a respeito, creio que até mesmo para esse tipo de hardware... espero ter ajudado, abraço!

É bastante improvável q o kernel não esteja compilado com esses módulos (se é qual eu estou pensando). Pra tirar a dúvida, quando iniciar o Ubuntu, abra o terminal como root e digite:

# lspci
# lsmod

E coloque os resultados aki.

Obs.: não digite a cerquilha. Tá ae só pra identificar q o comando a ser digitado deve ser como root.

Remova manualmente os seguintes módulos:

# modprobe -r saa7134_alsa
# modprobe -r saa7134

E carregue-o dessa forma:

# modprobe saa7134 card=106

Pra testar, instale o tvtime, coloque a antena na placa d captura e veja se vc pega alguma coisa. Pra instalar o tvtime:

# aptitude install tvtime

Tá, mas vc vai ficar fazendo isso toda vez q iniciar seu sistema?? Huihauiahiuahaiuh!! Pra q fique automático, faça o seguinte:

# mcedit /etc/modprobe.d/saa7134.conf

Coloque o seguinte conteúdo dentro do arquivo:

options saa7134 card=106

E salve o arquivo. Pronto!

renato, claro! o modelo da placa tem que ser especificado no arquivo modprobe.conf (arquivos da pasta modprobe.d em sistemas baseados em debian)! como eu nunca tive contato com esse tipo de hardware, isso acabou por passar despercebido para mim, valeu. abraço!
