Acho que a opção mais prática de vermos o que pode estar ocorrendo seria tirar a tela que tapa a sequência de boot (Plymouth ou outro) porque o boot parece estar parando algum tempo em determinado serviço com uma contagem de tempo antes do sistema decidir em pará-lo para continuar a sequência, porém isso pode deixar o sistema mais ferrado do que já está, hehehe... Cara, então, eu iniciei o pen drive bootável do Zorin em modo live e acessei o GParted por lá. O que acontece é que havia uma outra partição entre a partição Windows e a partição Linux, então eu não conseguia expandir a partição do Zorin. O que eu fiz foi excluir aquela partição intermediária e usar o espaço dela pra expandir a do Zorin. Feito isso, reiniciei o sistema e ele começou a demorar mais pra iniciar.

O resultado do comando foi esse:
