Baseando-se nos dados abaixo, alguém sabe qual o driver correto que eu tenho que instalar no para que o Ubuntu reconheça a rede sem fio? O Notebook é um Inspiron 1545 da Dell.

rode o comando lspci, pois acho que a placa deste note é ligada a um slot pci.

ola, tbm tenho um dell inspiron e suas configuracoes sao iguais as do meu! nossa placa wireless e uma broadcom bcm4312 (driver b43)

para instala-la, conecte na rede cabeada e:

# apt-get update
# apt-get install bcmwl-kernel-source

ou se preferir use o synaptic

dica: esse driver eh nativo do sistema e tem no cd de instalacao!
