Como rodar Point Blank com Wine?

Recentimente instalei o wine, roda vários programas e jogos mais simples perfeitamente, porém ao executar Point Blank(um FPS, jogo online)não inicia o X-trap(um tipo de aplicativo,ou software anti-hacker). Sem o X-trap nada feito.
O PBLauncher executa corretamente, porém não passa da verificação de arquivos, ou seja, não inicia. Lí um post com a mesma situação: http://ubuntuforum-br.org/index.php?topic=84505.0
Alguém que tenha conhecimento, ou um pouco de noção sobre a configuração do Wine, ou dos arquivos do jogo, ajude por favor, desde já agradeço.

Colega, primeiramente descubra o diretório onde está o executável .exe do X-trap
o diretório do wine está localizado em

~/.wine 

. ou seja:

/home/<usuário>/.wine/ 

bom, após encontrar o executável do X-trap, rode esse executável do X-trap pelo terminal, por exemplo:

wine "/home/marcos/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Point Blank/X-trap.exe" 

rodando pelo terminal voce conseguirá ver o debug do wine ao tentar rodar esse executável.

então peço que voce execute o X-trap pelo terminal e ponha aqui o que apareçeu no terminal!

PS: siga o exemplo colocando "aspas" ao informar o diretório e executável no terminal!

Como ainda sou leigo no terminal, não consegui executar o comando, ralata "arquivo ou diretorio não encontrado". Então fui à pasta e joguei o Xtrap direto ao terminal, teclei enter e: ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ sudo -uueliton|#uid

Ai percebi que o XTrap é ".xt", e não ".exe".Talvez seja por isso que não dá continuidade na inicialização. Ele até executa,ao carrega-lo separadamente com o wine, mas há um bloqueio, e fecha automaticamente.

Bom minha opinião
querer rodar jogos , aplicativos no wine não é muito bom
pois hora funciona hora não funciona , é sempre uma dor de cabeça
eu sugiro sempre usar dualboot , assim não tem dor de cabeça

então eu sei o que fazer, voce deverá fazer o terminal entrar no diretório onde está o executável do Xtrap e depois dar o comando wine com o executável na linha. por exemplo:

cd '/home/ubuntu/.wine/dosdevices/c:/Arquivos de programas/Poitblank/XTrap/ 

em seguida...

wine XTrap.exe 

ou

wine XTrap.xt 

ou se não, do jeito que voce achar mais sucessível!

fazendo isso os arquivos serão carregados localmente pois se o terminal está no diretório do XTrap, ele conseguirá fazer com que o programa carregue os seus arquivos de inicialização, espero...

Executei

wine XTrap.xt 

,o resultado foi o mesmo postado anteriomante. Então executei também

wine PointBlank.exe 

, pois este arquivo executa o jogo no windows,mas aqui no ubuntu da erro:

Bom, não vejo solução quanto ao X-trap.
mas tenta usar o cedega_Small, cedega_small tá?, cedega não.

ele é tipo Wine, mas feito para emular jogos. talvez com ele há chance de funcionar...

O que seria esse "dualboot"? ... Windows e Linux no mesmo PC? Na minha situação isto não é viável, não tenho Windows no PC ao qual quero executar o jogo, queria uma solução no ubuntu mesmo.



Bom,pelo pouco que lí sobre o Cedega small, é instalado pelo terminal, não entendi nada.Para um principiante como eu, não é nada fácil instalá-lo. Mas obrigado pela dica.


Beleza! Tem que tentar executar o "PointBlank.exe",pois com ele o X-Trap também é iniciado.

de uma lida , quem sabe tem que instalar mais alguma coisa no wine

Colega, acho que por torrent voce vai acabar encontrando o cedega small completo!

posso te garantir que já existe um pacote compilado para:
*Debian, e descendentes(.deb)
*Fedora (.rpm) e
*Slackware (.rpm).

aí você pode instalar apenas usando o comando de instalação no terminal :D.

agora é com você e pesquisar na web, não posso te ajudar fornecendo os links pois estou sem tempo até pra navegar por aí!!!

Infelizmente, jogo bom só pega no windows... Falam tanto do Linux, mas tem poucos programas realmente úteis pra usuários leigos, muito menos jogos RPG de alto nivel. A verdade é que Linux é um sistema pra desenvolvedores, programadores, etc... Alguém prova o contrário?
