não consigo atualizar o ubuntu 10.10 O que devo fazer?

Caros colegas, gostaria que me ajudassem a consertar meu ubuntu 10.10, pois já tentei atualizá-lo masui não consegui. O que devo fazer?
digitei o seguinte comando: sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list e obtive a seguinte resposta:

O seu sources.list parece estar correto, qual a mensagem de erro que dá quando você roda o comando:

$sudo apt-get update

Esse comando serve para atualizar a lista de pacotes, para atualizar os programas instalaldos, você deve utilizar:

$sudo apt-get upgrade

[ ]'s e boa sorte;

O que o Luciano falou está correto.

Não uso Ubuntu mais creio que seu 'sources.list' esta correto.

Rode o comando como 'root' para atualizar seu sistema:

# apt-get update && apt-get upgrade

Pode usar também o aptitude.

Retorne com o resultado...
