Conexão de rede no Xubuntu 14.04 [RESOLVIDO]

Já executei o comando 'modprobe -a 8139too', mais nada de conexão...

Como root executando pelo terminal o nm-applet, aparece o ícone no painel mais a rede esta desabilitada, não estando em execução.

O retorno que o comando pelo terminal retorna, é igual como ususário comum, só como uma linha a mais.

Reiniciei o sistema e ainda sem conexão!

Em Configurações > Conexão de Rede não me mostra nenhuma interface de rede!

Uma outra observação é que toda vez que o sistema e carregado, mostra a mensagem como descrita no início do tópico.

Só uma obseservação que "wlan0" provavelmente é o módulo da placa wireless da minha máquina quando fiz a instalação do xubuntu no HD, mais a outra é realmente da máquina em questão.
