Configurando samba no Fedora

Fiz o que vc falou, ficou assim:

This file controls the state of SELinux on the system.
# SELINUX= can take one of these three values:
# enforcing - SELinux security policy is enforced.
# permissive - SELinux prints warnings instead of enforcing.
# disabled - No SELinux policy is loaded.
SELINUX=disable
# SELINUXTYPE= can take one of these two values:
# targeted - Targeted processes are protected,
# mls - Multi Level Security protection.
SELINUXTYPE=targeted

está certo sim....
este SELinux mais atrapalha do que ajuda.

Desativei e mesmo assim não consigo ver minha máquina pelo windows.

Alguem teria mais alguma dica?

A principal opção é:


Desabilite o SELINUX editando o arquivo /etc/selinux/config
seu arquivo devera ficar desta forma:

SELINUX=disabled

Desabilitando esta opção vc estará livre de futuros problemas, inclusive liberando o samba para a rede.

do amigo q postou.Se ee estiver ativado vc não vai conseguir fazer funcionar.
