Configurar Placa Wireless no Dell Inspirion 15R com Debian Wheezy AMD64 [RESOLVIDO]

Boa tarde pessoal!

adiquiri um notebook DELL inspirion 15R e estou tentando usar o debia wheezy 64bits. dentre os problemas que surgiram, o primeiro de desejo resolver é o da WIFI.

gostaria que me ajudassem, segui alguns tutoriais mas não consegui nada que se aplique ao meu caso. talves porque não encontrei nada recente. :/

então, rodei o comando lspci e apareceu o seguinte:

Eu usaria uma distro atual com kernel mais novo para detectar essa atheros automaticamente >> ubuntu-13.10, fedora20

Eu realmente estava interessado em experimentar uma distro nova, mas depois de passar o final de semana inteiro pesquisando e testando vários tutoriais, não consegui fazer funcionar vários itens do meu notebook(wifi, placa de vídeo, ventoinha que ficava ligada direto, etc..).
instalei o ubuntu 13.10 e tudo foi reconhecido automático. :)
